Locked Stock and New Apparel

Hello, hello ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls did you miss me?… *crickets chirping* … bollocks...

Hey! Greetings people its been a while since my last post, work and the rest of the aggravating circumstances we are subjected to and know as the real world kept me a little busier than I would like, however that is neither here nor there.

This is Didier, my mage/thief/rouge character. For more information, a back story and all that jazz you should look here [link] .I changed his trousers and shoes, as the old designs were annoying me for reasons that not even I am privy to. I would like to point out the “All-Star” design on his Chuck Taylor’s, I thought it was nothing short of genius, but I am the modest type.

To the casual observer it would appear that Didier has gotten himself into something of a bind, what with being in the stocks and all, however I assure you by the time you reach the end of this sentence he will have already escaped, and, furthermore, made a witty remark as to the paltry amount of time it took him to free himself.
How? Well the twenty something years of practice will have given him an edge of sorts, but more likely than not that Invadus-obfirmo spell tattooed on his right thumb was the key- if you will- to his freedom, it is also the secret of his success as a lock-pick and a thief.

Overall I am pretty chuffed, for lack of a better word, at how this turned out, more so than I have been with most drawings lately, chuffed enough to ink and colour it, at least.

Anyone thinking of questioning how the stock stays together, or even functions properly, should cease and desist from these ponderings at once as that road leads to madness equal only to that of one who tries to figure out how any of the multitude of belts Didier wears actually buckles…
… if any one really must know, it’s magic.

Didier, or D. as I have come to affectionately call him lately, has taken up a rather large portion of both my mind and my time of late. I have even taken the time to commit bits and pieces of his story to writing, a liberty I’ve not taken with any of my characters for a while. His complete manifesto is waiting to be typed out in story form once the inspiration comes, until then I’m afraid it will remain in limbo gathering dust and taking up a hefty percentage of the free space in the back of my mind, which I suspect is beginning to rack up quite a storage fee.


So there you have it, I like to think of these posts like a piggy bank, so feel free to put your two cents in.
