Well, this has been a constant pain in my ass for the last two weeks.. first getting everything i wanted to look right (which i'm still not entirely happy with) and then the colouring oh dear god the colouring so many tiny little spaces, anyway...

This is Rigg, no not the little bizzaro rat creature in the orange jumpsuit and baggy jeans, the big red mech arms, yeah thats Rigg! the rodent type guy is known as No.177125IX cos he's a science experiment so he didn't get an actual name, sad huh?!

Both created by one Dr. Orttermann for purposes unknown, the Rigg was a prototype industrial working harness with what was supposed to be a base level of artificial intelligence, and No.177125IX was genetically created to be its test pilot, he had to be genetically purpose built because existing animal testing laws strictly forbid, or at least frown upon, the merging of mechanical circuitry and machine parts to a helpless and defencless animal.
And so the two were joined in a somewhat harmonious symbiotic relationship, however, the Rigg's base level A.I turned out to be less of a base level and more of an advanced learning programme, and No. 177125IX had developed an overwhelming persecution complex which made him less than co-operative, and yet, the two conspired to escape the confines of their laboratory holding cell and explore the world... or, failing that the next time Dr. Orttermann came to see them, beat the living shit out of him!

"Hang on, I have a tool for that..." comes to mind when I look at RIGG and No.177125IX by ~8-Ball-Murphy. Seriously though, great job on the colors and wicked cool design idea sets this one apart. I can't help myself from staring at this wondering how it works and what it can do. ( Suggested by *SlyDante and Featured by `Aeires )

Any time. Coloring is ahuge pain. I never do anything but flat colors, supreme laziness. :)

I never really learned how to blend colors digitally anyway. I think it's harder to do when you use a mouse.

Holy moose! This went and got a DD while my back was turned! Wow, congrats there, mate. These two totally deserved it! :clap:
I also have a question: is the orange part on No.177125IX a suit of some kind? I just noticed that it looks as though it is. :o

yeah thats a safety orange body suit, it's part of the Rigg, sort of a status suit with functions built into it to monitor 177125IX's physical well being, and compensate for any loss of body heat at night or in the cold, apply pressure to certain mussles so they don't strain under Riggs weight and it also augments 177125IX's strenght to a degree.

No. 177125IX has always been a little uncormfortable being seen in a skin tight orange jump suit, thats why he wears the jeans..
